1.   Real People

Top7 is for real. The topics are created by us, or users and they are ranked by real people making the ranking results honest and reliable. We want you to trust that you are always getting the real thing. And that is why we ask all our users to register. We know it can be a hassle, but it is the only way for us to know that you are human, and to keep nasty robots from using evil power to fix the ranking result.

2.    Your Choice, Everyone’s Choice
Every time you or someone else ranks a topic, the aggregated ranking result will change so that it will always reflect the sum of favorite choices. But all rankings can be sorted according to age, gender or location, and individual rankings are available as well. This makes Top7 a perfect combination of individual taste and the voice of the community, big or small.

3.    Straight From The Heart 
First you rank, then you see the result. We want your rankings to be honest and straight from the heart. You can of course always change your rankings, but your first time will probably the most objective.

4.    One Of A Kind

Every topic and every item in Top7 should be unique. We like originality (and we think you do too), so we will let you know if your topic resembles other topics before you publish it, and items can be edited to fit new topics created. This way you don’t have to create a new item if an already existing item can be used by just editing the image and/or text.

5.    Be Positive, Be Respectful
This is a place to inspire and be inspired. Trash talk has no real value, so if that’s what you need today, there are plenty of other places on the web. Bottom line is that it is way more useful to know the best restaurant and not the one that sucks. So try to stay positive and show respect when you interact, and when you create or rank topics.

6.    Trust And Safety

We want to know who you are in order to make sure that Top7 is a community of real, honest people. But just because you trust us with your personal information, doesn’t mean that you have to share it with the rest of the World Wide Web. Privacy options allow you to hide certain profile data, like your date of birth, and we will of course treat your personal information with all the safety precautions available.

Top7 is a creative and engaging way to express yourself and to show the world who you are. But it is more than that. By joining and sharing your individual expertise through your top picks, you are providing the community with useful information.
